Research-to-Practice Symposium (RTPS)

What is the Research-to-Practice Symposium?

The Florida PIRC at USF hosts an annual statewide symposium which features a recognized national or regional authority discussing the latest research on important parent involvement issues for Florida’s educators and parents. The Research-to-Practice Symposium provides school, district, state level, and nonprofit organization personnel as well as parents/parent leaders with high quality, relevant, and useful trainings and information on parent involvement. The goal of the Symposium is to translate leading-edge parental involvement research into practical strategies that can be implemented to increase and improve parental involvement practices statewide, especially for educationally and economically challenged populations.
